Fact: The print industry is one of the most polluting industries in the UK.

The environmental impact of a printing company can be considerably high. We’re doing our bit to reduce pollution as much as we can by using partly or fully recycled paper (FSC Accredited) where ever possible. We’ve taken a look at our printing processes, the inks in our new Ricoh are so eco friendly, you can eat them (we’ll let you try first!)

We have reduced our wastage as much as we can for the time being and we are recycling everything we can get our hands on either via the council or just donating all our waste paper to local schools.

Our couriers are 2011 Greenfleet Award winners, using a fleet of Toyota Prius cars, they deliver our products cleanly and efficiently and are working towards becoming carbon neutral.

Carbon Smart

We are also working towards being a fully Carbon Smart Certified business. This involves checks on all of our procedures, and special workshops where we can learn more about what we can do both personally and within our business to help combat our effect on the environment.

We are committed to conducting our business operations in an environmentally responsible manner and recognise the need to continually improve our operations, reduce any adverse effects on the environment and to strive to achieve an economic balance between environmental management and business activities.

Our Carbon Footprint per staff member is only 2.9 CO2e tonnes (typical value for print being 5.1 CO2e tonnes), we will strive to reduce our carbon footprint still further by 5% in the forthcoming year.
